Cutting-Edge Dental Technology and Materials
Our approach to dental care in Austin, TX, is simple. The goal of our dentists is to improve your oral health and quality of life through a variety of advanced cosmetic dentistry and restorative dental treatments that use the latest technology available. Our dentists, Dr. Meek DDS and Dr. Tasch DDS, are comfortable with all implant technology, but prefer to use the highest quality dental implants by Nobel Biocare. These implants utilize and the finest materials to create lifelike cosmetic dentistry restorations such as dental crowns, implant-supported dentures, and bridges.
During your first dental appointment at our Austin, TX, practice, our dentists will perform a complete examination. This procedure is more than just checking your teeth for any superficial disease: it includes an oral cancer screening and digital x-rays that emit less radiation than traditional machines. After listening carefully to your dental goals, our dentists will explain your current state of oral health and will outline treatment options.
This allows you to make an educated decision towards your dental care. Our team of restorative and cosmetic dentistry professionals in Austin can then design a treatment plan that will safely and effectively eliminate any present disease to improve the health of your smile.

Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, induces a state of light relaxation. Our Austin, TX, dentists administer this colorless gas by placing a mask over your nose. Nitrous oxide is easily controlled and the effects wear off quickly as soon as the nose mask is removed. Because this form of sedation is safe and easy to administer accurately, it is very effective for children. Nitrous oxide is the only form of sedation where you may be able to drive yourself home after receiving treatment. However, our dentists may still recommend you have someone drive you to and from your appointment, depending on your treatment.
Oral Conscious Sedation
For moderate sedation the dentists at our Austin, TX, practice can prescribe a conscious oral sedative. These medications have a calming effect, which reduces anxiety so you can feel relaxed while you receive the care you need to support your dental health. Depending on your level of anxiety, our dentists may prescribe you medication to take before your appointment, or even the night before. An oral sedative will likely make you feel drowsy, but you will remain awake during treatment. The effects last a bit longer than with inhaled sedatives, so you will need someone to drive you to and from your appointment.
Best dentist I have ever been to. Everyone on staff is fantastic. Will thankfully never have to fear dental work again! They really care about me and my teeth. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
