I on boarded 3D printing at 38th Street Dental in 2022. The output technology is astounding! The 3D printer was paired with our intra-oral scanner to allow us to hyper-customize our variety of services to patients including DIGITAL DENTURES.
Digital Dentures are full mouth teeth produced using no goopy impressions, and the latest printed resin technology to dial in the fit and function of your new teeth. I will tell you that my outcomes have never been better. With the digital denture design process I am able to “dial in” the suction, or retention of what our final product will have AND the bite. This is incredible! The old fashion way to make dentures always left this to question.
Digital dentures also allow us to easily see what your final smile will look like with the dentures in your mouth! That’s right, we get to test drive them before we finally output the appliances through one of our trusted laboratory partners to be milled from a solid piece of acrylic. No teeth popping off!
