Implant Dentistry Goes Viral! By Dr. Meek on May 07, 2015

Last week was a whirlwind.  Tuesday night found me in Dallas speaking to the referring doctors of ROOT, a periodontal practice owned by Dr. Amit Patel.  Cool, young, and energized would characterize this practice and its referrals.  Two hours of lecture later, Southwest’s 10:25 pm got me home by midnight.

Worked in the practice Wednesday and Thursday although Wednesday was a little sleepy.  Thursday night found me at 3Forks steakhouse speaking to my home town crowd about dental implants for single tooth replacement.  It was a great time and attended by the Nobel Biocare’s Lone Star Regional manager, Alan Prewitt, and national manager, Chris Dubois, and local rep Jill Vennes.  It was such compliment to have them attend my presentation.

Friday came and once again I was back in the air.  American Airlines jetted me to Chicago where I met up with the Chicago Nobel Biocare reps and had dinner with two young oral surgeons and founders of the Maxillofacial Institute of Implantology.  Saturday morning, I was the keynote speaker for their meeting and spoke for three hours about implant dentistry.

Worn out by the end of the day, Southwest Air had me home to my honey by nine o’clock pm.

A week later and I’m on a plane to Spokane, Washington.  My calendar is packed and I’m on a professional roller coaster ride making professional friends across the country and further reinforcing the idea that we do remarkable work with dental implants at 38th Street Dental.  I’m excited about our future in reconstructive dentsitry and invite you to come and visit with Dr. Tasch and I about the great possibilities for your oral health with implant dentistry!
