Case Report: 17-Year Follow-up on Dental Implant Restored by Dr. Meek

Long ago I placed a great amount of trust in the science and experience of my colleagues with the dental implant treatment modality. Years later, I'm happy I did. The photos shown below are of the radiographic appearance of a restoration I placed in 2004 on a Frialight Dental Implant. We cemented the crown and it has performed beautifully since. The photo of the retoration was taken May 2021. It looks as good as as the day I put it in 17 years ago.

This is a radiograph of the area. We monitor bone levels with periapical radiographs as patients return for routine care to track the health of the implant over time. Pictured below are radiographs from 2008 and 2021. The bone levels are essentially the same and this is the remarkable thing about the implant experience I have had countless times since then.
